Personal Home Care Aide
About the Role
Assisting Hands Home Care is looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers, CNAs, and home health aides to provide personalized, non-medical care to seniors and individuals who need assistance maintaining their independence at home. Our caregivers play an important role in helping clients feel safe, comfortable, supported, and cared for in their own homes. Our service area includes communities throughout the Northwest Suburbs, including Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Rolling Meadows, Elk Grove Village, Des Plaines, Park Ridge, and surrounding areas. Applicants must be comfortable traveling to clients throughout our service area based on client needs and availability.

What You'll Do
As a caregiver, you may assist clients with:
- Personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Companionship and meaningful daily activities
- Meal preparation and basic household tasks
- Following individualized care plans and client routines
- Providing safe, respectful, and dependable in-home support
- Documenting care and communicating important changes to the office
What We're Looking For
- Previous caregiving experience preferred; 1+ year of experience in home care, private duty, CNA, HHA, or a related setting is a plus
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Current auto insurance
- A dependable, compassionate, and patient approach to caregiving
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
Pay
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
