The Program

Complete a Certificate 3 in Individual Support with us, while you earn an income. We’ll connect you with government funding, so you complete the certificate at no cost.

About The Role

Provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life. Spend your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities. In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing. Provide care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan. Support with community based recreational and social activities. Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

Role Requirements

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum)
• Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies

Pay

$32.69 p/hr + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM’s)

Schedule

Mon- Fri, 8am - 5pm (Min 30hrs per week)

Qualifications

Completion of a Certificate 3 in Individual Support is required.
