About The Role

Personal Carers work under the direction of the registered staff to meet the individual care needs of residents in an effective and holistic manner, ensuring a high standard of living is maintained in a pleasant, homelike environment with a genuine interest in caring for the elderly, supporting their dignity and independence.

Responsibilities

• Support customers with a variety of activities in their daily lifestyle routines including home/room cleaning and clothing, food and dining experiences, social interaction and companionship, lifestyle interests and reminiscence

Requirements

• Certificate III in Aged/Community Care and/or appropriate qualifications and experience
• Willingness to work as a team member, relating to a multi-disciplinary team
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in a similar role is highly advantageous
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Schedule

This role requires availability Monday to Sunday for morning, afternoon and night shifts.
