What You Will Do

• Provide personal care assistance maintaining the independence of the participant to conduct activities of daily living, including toileting, showers, eating, and grooming
• Affiliate participants in the maintenance of physical activity, exercise, and walking
• Behavioral supervision or support for participants, such as reality orientation, reminder to follow through with nursing and medication instruction, diet restrictions, and emotional reassurance
• Affiliate with general activities such as conversing with participants, recreation activities, meal and snack serving, and housekeeping

What You Will Need

• Must be an active certified nurse assistant in the state where PACE Organization is located.
• Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience working with a frail or elderly population strongly preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Superior written/verbal communication skills
• Must be customer focused, exercise independent judgment and flexibility to adapt to ongoing change
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) and basic knowledge/experience with electronic mail and calendaring systems

Position Requirements

• Position may require 10% local travel and use of personal vehicle
• Position requires ability to engage in frequent kneeling, crouching, reaching, lifting, sitting, walking, bending and lifting. Must be able to push, pull, move and or lift a minimum of 20 pounds if applicable
