Qualifications
- Current PC Administrator licensure from PA Department of Human Services
- Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 21 years of age or older
- One of the following:
- Current RN license issued by the PA Department of State
- 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Current LPN license issued by the PA Department of State
- Credentialing as a Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) issued by the PA Department of State
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed occupancy and mix goals
- Oversee clinical services to ensure the highest quality of care and satisfactory resident outcomes
- Coordinate operations to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations
- Oversee the overall operations of the independent living spaces
- Coordinate independent living services related to the 6 dimensions of Thrive Wellness
- Communicate with residents and families through Continuum of Care and Board of Review meetings
- Develop and participate in the annual budget and fiscal control of the community
- Collaborate on recruitment recommendations and decisions
- Participate in training, supervision, and discipline of staff
- Complete performance evaluations for direct reports
- Act as a liaison between the community and all outside agencies
- Maintain and prepare records and reports as required by policies and regulations
- Ensure resident rights and smooth transition throughout the community
- Act as a catalyst for quality improvement
- Perform daily rounding on residents and staff
- Promote effective marketing and public relations
- Remain compliant with all federal, state, local, and corporate regulations
