Personal Care Medication Aide/Caregiver

About the role

The Personal Care Medication Aide/Caregiver distributes medications and treatments to residents and performs general household caregiving duties.

Responsibilities

• Distribute medications and treatments to residents
• Perform general duties and responsibilities of the household caregiver
• Provide medical and physical care to residents to help them function at their highest level

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old, except for positions requiring active registration as a Nurse Aide
• A high school diploma or equivalent, unless active registration as a Nurse Aide is required
• Successfully complete required medication training
• Have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Show strong communication skills
• Have previous experience working with older adults (preferred)
• Offer excellent customer service
• Show a positive attitude
• Be capable of working in a fast-paced environment
• Be able to work as part of a team
