About the Role
Messiah Lifeways is a nonprofit, mission-driven organization serving adults 55+ in South Central PA since 1896. Our Enhanced Living (Personal Care) team is looking for Med Techs to provide essential support to Enhanced Living residents, including medication administration and treatments in accordance with Department of Human Services Personal Care Home regulations.
Ideal candidates must be willing to work rotating weekends and holidays. You will encourage and support residents to be as independent as possible, assist with personal hygiene, transfer residents as needed, assist with treatments and therapies, ensure residents take their medications, and serve as a role model for all Nursing Assistants.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
- Successful completion of certification from the Department of Human Services Medication Administration Course
- Ability to provide appropriate documentation for Med Tech certification, including:
- Summary and qualification form
- Review of non-oral medication documentation
- Observation documentation (at least 6 months' worth if coming from another community)
Preferred: 1 year of Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Assistant (PCA) experience.
