About the role
Personal Care Attendants/Certified Nursing Assistants are needed to support residents at NorthPointe Terrace. Shifts are available from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living
- Administer medications under supervision
- Conduct room checks and tenant rounds
- Monitor for environmental and safety hazards
- Record incidents and report them to the Director
- Escorts residents to dining rooms and assists with meal service
- Maintain confidentiality and collaborate with peers
- Follow up on reported complaints and concerns
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited CNA program
- Current IL CNA certification
- Valid driver's license
- CPR Certification within 3 months
- Completion of the required medication training course
Qualifications
Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to healthcare and personal care services.
