Lakewood Care Center is an 87-bed, Medicare certified skilled long-term care facility recognized by Nursing Home Compare as one of the best nursing homes in Minnesota based on survey results involving nursing staff, health inspections and quality measures. Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to residents with daily activities such as feeding and bathing
- Encourage residents to function at the highest level of their ability
- Communicate information regarding resident needs through written and verbal communication to appropriate staff members
- Observe proper infection control and safety procedures
- Respond positively to feedback (questions, suggestions, problems) from residents, guests, family members and fellow staff
Position Type
We offer flexible scheduling to promote work/life balance. Currently hiring full-time and part-time employees for the following shifts:
- 8 hour shifts - 6:00am-2:30pm, 2:00pm-10:30pm, 10:00pm-6:15am
- 12 hour shifts - 6:00am-6:30pm, 5:45pm-6:15am, NOC Weekend Warrior: Work three 12s, get paid for 40
Qualifications
- Current MN Certified Nursing Assistant certificate (can receive via paid training time on-the-job upon hire)
- Ideal Candidate: Welcomes feedback from guests, residents and fellow staff; Prioritizes patient safety by paying close attention to detail when assisting residents with daily activities; Thrives in a team setting

Pay
Starting pay for Certified Nursing Assistants is $22.50/hour and does include additional compensation available through: Shift pick-up, shift differential, overtime Increases based on certifications, education, experience or additional duties (such as TMA)
