Responsibilities
- Assist participants with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Perform light housekeeping tasks related to participant care (laundry, meal preparation, cleaning participant areas)
- Assist with meal setup and feeding as needed
- Observe and report changes in participant condition, behavior, or environment to the care team
- Follow individualized care plans and safety guidelines
- Support participants with exercises or activities as directed by therapy staff
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain participant confidentiality and respect cultural preferences
- Accurately document services provided and report incidents promptly
- Follow infection control and universal precautions
- Participate in training, team meetings, and required in-services
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma, GED OR applicable work experience. Certification from a nursing assistant training program through classroom and supervised practical training totaling at least 75 hours with 16 hours devoted to supervised practical training OR minimum of six months clinical experience.
- Licenses/Certifications: Maintains current CPR status, Maintains current Mandatory Reporter status, Completes 12 hours of related in-services per calendar year.
- Other: Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons. Valid Auto insurance.
Pay
The salary range listed does not include other forms of compensation which may include bonuses/incentive, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits that may be applicable to this role.
