Personal Care Attendant

What You’ll Do

• Aid residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity.
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident care, activities, and changes as required.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus — training available.

• Attention to detail and commitment to resident comfort and safety.

Physical Demands

• Lift up to 25 lbs. and assist with resident transfers as needed.
• Push, pull, and maneuver up to 100 lbs., including resident mobility assistance.
• Maneuver resident wheelchairs weighing up to 350 lbs.
• Work Environment
• This role is performed in an indoor senior living environment designed to promote comfort, safety, and engagement.
• Duties may include accompanying residents to supervised indoor or outdoor activities.
