Personal Care Assistants (Full-time)

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to students under the direction of learning support and/or classroom teachers.
• Provide personal care/toileting support to individual students as needed.

Qualifications

• Meet Qualified Status with two years of post-secondary education or high school diploma/equivalent and satisfactory completion of the CAPE test.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must be cooperative, congenial, and service-oriented.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks.

Pay

Base pay rate is $14.06 per hour minimum. The offered starting rate will be based on experience and internal equity. PCA positions for students in the autistic support classroom include a $2.50 per hour differential.

Required Clearances
