Personal Care Assistant PRN

About the role

A Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver position is available at The Ashford Sturbridge, a Wallick Senior Living facility in Hilliard, OH. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $16/hr plus shift differential and is available on a PRN (Per Request, Not Scheduled) basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
• Perform physical resident care including all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming.
• Answer call lights promptly and address resident and family needs.
• Motivate and encourage resident participation in activities.
• Assist residents to and from activities, dining room, and other functions within the community.
• Lift, turn, and reposition residents as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous experience working in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus.
• CPR certification is required.
• Effective communication skills are essential.
• The ability to read and interpret work instructions is necessary.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
