About the role

Eminence Home Care is seeking dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to provide compassionate care in the homes of our clients. As a Personal Care Assistant at Eminence Home Care, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals who need assistance with daily activities. Your support will empower them to maintain their independence in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily personal care routines, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Help with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations
• Support with meal planning and preparation based on dietary needs
• Perform light housekeeping duties and ensure a clean living environment

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a related role preferred
• Strong empathy and a genuine desire to help others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual and possess strong organizational skills
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations and a negative TB test
• High school diploma or GED required
• Proven ability to work independently while also being part of a team
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally

Compensation

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule

Various shifts including full-time, part-time, and flexible scheduling options.
