Personal Care Assistant (PCA) / Caregiver
About the role
The Personal Care Aide (PCA)/Caregiver role at Interim HealthCare offers flexible scheduling and a focus on work-life balance. This position is available full-time, part-time, and per diem, with morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts available.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to seniors living at home
- Absorb and assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship
- Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
- Remind clients about medications, document their condition, and report any concerns to a supervisor
- Ensure a safe home environment with clear pathways
- Engage clients in activities that bring them joy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies
Requirements
- PCA, CNA, or HHA certification
- Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
- Valid driver's license and own transportation
- Compassionate and helping nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay
$18.50/hr
