Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help clients with mobility and transfers, including using a wheelchair or walker
- Auxiliary clients with meal preparation and feeding
- Provide medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning
- Document client care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
- Communicate with office staff, RNs and family members as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a CNA or prior CNA/PCA experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Able to pass a national background check and drug test
- Able to lift and move clients as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Physical Demands
- The PCA will be required to lift and move clients, as well as perform other physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching
- The job may also require standing or walking for extended periods of time
Work Environment
- The PCA will work in clients' homes
- The job may require exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous materials
