Personal Care Assistant - PCA

Responsibilities

• Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalized.
• Aid clients with activities of daily living including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transport and companionship.
• Deliver care in accordance with the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse).
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.

Requirements

• Passionate about making a difference.
• A self-led leader with the ability to take responsibility for their own behavior & success.
• Coachable.
• Previous caregiving experience is an asset.
• Must be able to speak and write in English. Other languages will be an asset!
• Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers when needed.
• Reliable way to get to and from the client's homes.
• Drivers with their own vehicle will be an asset.

Qualifications

• Minimum Cert III in either Aged care, Community, Individual Support or Disability, or extensive industry experience.
