Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

Responsibilities

• Aid licensed and certified staff in providing quality resident care and support.
• Maintain tidy, organized resident rooms by making beds and ensuring call bells, bed controls, and essential items are accessible.
• Serve drinks, snacks, and meals in accordance with facility guidelines.
• Provide companionship and socialization to support emotional well-being and engagement.
• Answer phones and assist nursing staff with communication needs as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident care areas as assigned.
• Support residents with comfort-focused tasks to enhance their daily living experience.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A current Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification/license in the state of PA is required.
