Responsibilities
- Aid licensed and certified staff in providing quality resident care and support.
- Make beds and maintain tidy, organized resident rooms.
- Ensure call bells, bed controls, and essential items are within the resident's reach.
- Assist with serving drinks, snacks, and meals in accordance with facility guidelines.
- Provide companionship and socialization to support emotional well-being and engagement.
- Answer phones and assist nursing staff with communication needs as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident care areas as assigned.
- Support residents with comfort-focused tasks to enhance their daily living experience.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A current CNA certification/license in the state of Maryland is required.
