Responsibilities

  • Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Helping with mobility and transferring clients safely
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' social wellbeing
  • Aiding in meal preparation and feeding as needed
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean living environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and compassion towards clients
  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
  • Reliability and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and health screenings as required
  • Ability to adapt to the unique needs of clients and work with a team
