Personal Care Assistant Part Time

About the role

ExpertCare is looking for a Personal Care Assistant to work 1:1 with our Recipients in their homes. The role involves supporting, encouraging, and helping with skill building activities, as well as bringing Recipients into the community to support their personal goals.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Recipients in their daily activities
• Encouraging and motivating Recipients to achieve their goals
• Helping Recipients build new skills and confidence
• Bringing Recipients into the community to participate in activities
• Adhering to and implementing care plans provided by the organization

Requirements

• Compassionate and patient
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments
• Able to pass required background checks and screenings
• Must be 18 years or older
