Position Overview We’re seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dependable Personal Care Assistant to provide dedicated in-home support for a client who needs assistance with mobility and daily activities. This role is ideal for a patient, attentive caregiver who can provide respectful personal care, promote safety, and offer meaningful companionship. Responsibilities Assist with walking and moving safely around the home, providing support with balance and helping reduce fall risks. Provide personal hygiene and bathing assistance, including helping the client safely enter and exit the bathtub. Assist after bathing by drying the client’s lower legs and feet and applying lotion as needed. Perform light housekeeping and help keep living spaces organized and walkways clear. Run local errands, including grocery shopping and picking up essential household items. Provide companionship through conversation, emotional support, and positive interaction. Remain attentive to the client’s needs and communicate concerns to the appropriate contact. Respect the client’s privacy, dignity, preferences, and independence. Environment & Conditions Smoke-free home. No pets in the residence. Generally clean home with some light organizing needs. Hands-on mobility support and attentive supervision are required. Travel for errands is required. Ideal Candidate Experienced in caregiving, including assisting individuals with mobility and balance challenges. Patient, reliable, attentive, and comfortable providing personal care and bathing assistance. Able to provide safe mobility support within their training and role. Willing to assist with errands, light housekeeping, and daily routines. Friendly and communicative, with the ability to provide meaningful companionship.
