Personal Care Assistant - Lakeview

Responsibilities

• Meets the basic care needs of residents according to the Support/Service Plan.
• Responds to all resident requests for assistance and/or call bells regardless of assignment.
• Observes residents and reports changes in condition to the appropriate supervisor or team members.
• Communicates and documents services provided to the resident.
• Recommends changes in the appropriate sections of the resident’s support/service plan.
• Performs basic care procedures.
• Auxiliaries with transportation of residents to outside appointments and shopping and accompanies resident as assigned.
• Initiates and completes appropriate resident activities.
• Informs residents of activities, encourages participation and provides transportation for such activities.
• Maintains a positive attitude and works in a fast-paced environment.
• Participates in all required in-service programs and team meetings, including program presentations.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older, unless Active on PA Nurse Aide Registry.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, unless Active on PA Nurse Aide Registry.
• CPR preferred.
• Previous experience working with older adults preferred.
• Must have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent customer service.
• Positive attitude.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently and as a team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older, unless Active on PA Nurse Aide Registry.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, unless Active on PA Nurse Aide Registry.

Skills

• Previous experience working with older adults preferred.
• Strong communication skills.

Benefits

• Compensation from $18.00 to $19.00 - (based upon experience).
• Plus additional PT, PRN, Evening, Night and Weekends shift differentials!
• Schedules Available:
• Part Time Day: 7a-3p
• Full Time Day: 7a-3p - $3,000.00 Sign on Bonus
• Full Time Day: 7a-3p - Memory Support Unit - $3,000.00 Sign on Bonus
• PRN (as needed)
• All including Rotating Weekends and Holidays

Pay

• Compensation from $18.00 to $19.00 - (based upon experience).
• Plus additional PT, PRN, Evening, Night and Weekends shift differentials!

Schedule

• Part Time Day: 7a-3p
• Full Time Day: 7a-3p - $3,000.00 Sign on Bonus
• Full Time Day: 7a-3p - Memory Support Unit - $3,000.00 Sign on Bonus

• All including Rotating Weekends and Holidays
