About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced, proactive, and dependable Personal Care Assistant to provide dedicated in-home support for a friendly female client in Marrowbone, KY. This role is ideal for a self-motivated caregiver who thrives with minimal direction, excels at home organization and meal preparation, and can confidently navigate household dynamics with professionalism and clear boundaries. This is a part‑time, onsite position in Burkesville, KY.

Responsibilities

• Perform light housekeeping and regular cleaning to maintain a tidy, organized environment.
• Cook well‑balanced, proper meals based on household preferences.
• Run local errands, including grocery shopping and escorting/driving to medical appointments.
• Provide friendly companionship while maintaining efficient daily structure and staying focused on tasks.
• Maintain professional focus during shifts, including strict adherence to staying off personal mobile devices.
• Exercise tact, patience, and professional boundary‑setting when communicating with family members.

Environment & Conditions

• Tobacco/Pets: Heavy indoor smoking residence; two outdoor dogs on the property.
• Home State: Cluttered but clean home with no pest/infestation issues.
• Mobility: Client is fully mobile and requires no direct physical mobility or transfer assistance.
• Household Dynamics: The client’s brother resides in the home, acts as the Power of Attorney (POA), and maintains active oversight. Caregivers must be comfortable working alongside involved family management.
• Travel: Travel for errands and medical appointments is required.

Requirements

• Proactive & Self‑Directed: Works efficiently with little direction, stays on task, and takes initiative in cooking and cleaning properly.
• Experienced with Complex Dynamics: Skilled in maintaining professional boundaries and a calm, respectful demeanor when interacting with strong or controlling personalities.
• Client‑Requested Preference: Female caregiver requested by client/family.
• Focused & Reliable: Dedicated to client care and maintaining task momentum without phone distractions.
• Valid Credentials: Must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance.
