About The Role
A family in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a female caregiver to provide support. The ideal caregiver will be patient, encouraging, and dependable, helping to promote daily activity and independence.
Location: Bowling Green, KY
Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8am-3pm
Client Needs
The client is fully mobile but experiences frequent seizures. The caregiver should remain attentive and available to assist if a seizure occurs. Prior experience with, or knowledge of, seizure care is strongly preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Running errands
- Transportation and accompaniment to doctor appointments
- Monitoring and being available for seizure-related assistance
- Providing companionship while watching television, especially westerns
Qualifications
- Female and preferably older/mature
- Friendly, patient, dependable, and attentive
- Experienced in caregiving
- Comfortable supporting a client with frequent seizures
- Comfortable driving for errands and medical appointments
- Interested in companionship and watching westerns or television with the client
