About the role

The Ashford of Beavercreek is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents. The role involves providing physical resident care, answering call lights, motivating resident participation in activities, and assisting with mobility needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
  • Perform physical resident care including personal hygiene and grooming.
  • Respond promptly to call lights and address resident and family needs.
  • Motivate and encourage resident involvement in activities.
  • Absorb residents to and from activities, dining room, and other functions within the community.
  • Lift, turn, and reposition residents as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Organized and self-motivated to provide excellent care for residents.
  • CPR certified. Nurse Aide certification is preferred but not required.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
  • Previous experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is beneficial.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Pay

$17.50/hr plus shift differential.
