About the role

Seton Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking enthusiastic and innovative Personal Care Assistants to join our team. The position offers full‑time and part‑time shifts (7 a‑3 p, 3 p‑11 p, 11 p‑7 a) for 1:1 resident interaction. We provide short‑term rehabilitative services and long‑term nursing care, deliver exemplary customer service and top‑quality care, are committed to team‑oriented outcomes and quality care, embrace a person‑centered care approach, and show value and respect to employees by offering opportunities for career advancement and promotion from within.

Responsibilities

• Helps resident maintain their highest level of functioning by presenting appropriate activity programs according to resident’s physical capacity, cognitive ability and interest
• Invites and encourages resident participation and assists in transporting
• Engages individual resident in maintaining maximum daily living functions
• Assures the safety of individual resident
• Participate in Quality Assurance programs and facility committees/programs

Requirements

• Experience working in healthcare; long‑term care experience preferred
• Passion for working with and having impactful interaction with seniors
• Creative, compassionate, patient, and willing to go the extra mile
• Effective communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
• Positive attitude
• Treat each resident with care, compassion, dignity, and respect
• Embrace our person‑centered care approach to meet each resident’s needs and preferences

Qualifications

• Must have long term care experience
• Ability to perform physical tasks required in skilled nursing
