Personal Care Assistant

About the role

The Caregiver position at Savant of Jurupa Valley is seeking an individual who can provide exceptional care to senior residents while enhancing their lives. The ideal candidate should be a team player, committed to the mission, and passionate about senior care.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed.
• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.
• Ensure residents are comfortable and supported during all activities and meal times.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent certificate.
• A competent history in a similar facility.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid First Aid Certification.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand English fluently.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and support their physical needs constantly.
• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing.

Pay

$18.00 - $20.50 per hour
