Responsibilities
- Provide basic domestic services (i.e. meal prep, laundry, light housework).
- Aid with mobility issues, helping participants get in and out of bed, wheelchair, etc.
- Remind clients to take medications.
- Support personal hygiene tasks (i.e. brushing teeth, toileting, bathing), changing bed linens regularly.
- Assist with all daily activities, based on participants' limitations and needs.
- Offer a caring and positive presence for the participants.
- Respond quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, advanced degree or credits preferred, or combination of education and/or experience.
- Minimum one year of experience working in a healthcare setting.
- High energy level, superior interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a team atmosphere.
