Personal Care Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide basic domestic services (i.e. meal prep, laundry, light housework).
• Aid with mobility issues, helping participants get in and out of bed, wheelchair, etc.
• Remind clients to take medications.
• Support personal hygiene tasks (i.e. brushing teeth, toileting, bathing), changing bed linens regularly.
• Assist with all daily activities, based on participants' limitations and needs.
• Offer a caring and positive presence for the participants.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, advanced degree or credits preferred, or combination of education and/or experience.
• Minimum one year of experience working in a healthcare setting.
• High energy level, superior interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a team atmosphere.
