Responsibilities
- Follow client care plans and complete daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets.
- Provide basic personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulation, meal preparation (including special diets), feeding assistance, oral hygiene, and aid with transfers using equipment like walkers and wheelchairs.
- Maintain safety, infection control, and a clean environment; notify supervisors of hazards or changes in client condition.
- Encourage client self-help and respect privacy and confidentiality.
- Assist with secondary tasks like laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping, only if specified in care plans.
- Administer medications only through self-administration support; never direct administration.
- Report abuse, neglect, or unsafe conditions immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred; ability to read and write required.
- Minimum 6 months caregiving experience, validated through references.
- Must be 18 years or older.

- Adherence to infection control, universal precautions, and confidentiality policies.
This role reports to the Home Care Manager and is responsible for delivering quality, client-centered care within scope and practice guidelines.
