Personal Care Aides (PCA) / Home Health Aides (HHA)

About the role

Marquis Home Care is currently seeking certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to provide quality care to clients in their homes.

Pay

• PCA: $20.00 per hour
• HHA: $22.00 per hour

Driver with reliable vehicle required.

Benefits

• $300 Sign-On Bonus for eligible new hires — must take a case and remain active for 30 days

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance
• Provide support with household tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
• Ensure client safety and proper use of equipment, including wheelchairs, oxygen equipment, side rails, and other assistive devices
• Accurately document services provided in accordance with agency policies and procedures
• Report changes in client condition, incidents, or concerns to the RN Supervisor promptly
• Establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients and their families
• Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of client information and records
• Adhere to agency dress code, personal hygiene standards, and professional conduct expectations
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and commitment to quality care
• Participate in supervisory and care team processes as required by New York State regulations
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervising nurse

Qualifications

• PCA or HHA certification
• Must have a license and own reliable transportation
• Compassionate, professional, and dependable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while following a care plan
