Personal Care Aide (PCA)
About the role
Edison Home Health Care is hiring Personal Care Aides (PCAs) in your community. We offer weekly pay starting at $19.10 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Work 1-on-1 with clients inside their homes
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks such as organizing, laundry, and basic cleaning
- Assist with personal activities like bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Aid with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of the client
Requirements
- Valid HHA/PCA certificate
- IDDedication to professional development, including organizational and state-required training
- Compliance with state background screening requirements
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals who require assistance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Skills
- Basic computer skills
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move clients
