About the role
CareBuilders at Home is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide (PCA) to assist our clients in daily activities and personal tasks. The Personal Care Aide (PCA) must have a genuine interest in helping people, be physically capable, and highly observant.
Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, feeding, grooming and medication reminders
- Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, dishwashing, and changing bed linens
- Transporting and accompanying clients to doctors office or to hospital
- Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs
- Ensure client safety and maintain a safe environment
- Assist with client’s exercise and outdoor activities
- Help clients with physical therapy exercises
- Plan and prepare meals
Skills and Qualifications
- Comply with CareBuilders at Home policies and procedures
- Proven work experience as a personal care aide
- Training in personal care aide duties is a plus
