Personal Care Aide (Full-Time)(6p-6a) - Carolina Reserve of Hendersonville

Responsibilities

• Aid residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Bathe, dress, groom, toile, position, transfer, move, and manage incontinence care for residents
• Prepare residents for meals, snacks, and activities
• Assist residents in dining room, including serving meals and clearing tables
• Respond to resident emergency call systems
• Document and report any changes in residents' conditions to Resident Care Coordinator or designee
• Communicate politely and professionally with residents and family members
• Maintain required resident care documentation according to state regulations and Navion policies
• Transport residents when required

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High School diploma or GED, with 80-hour personal care training certificate (Navion can provide this training)
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and teamwork skills
• Dedication to serving seniors and excellent customer service skills
• Previous experience working with seniors is preferred
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
