About the role

Venture Forthe is seeking caring, compassionate and professional individuals interested in providing personal care and general health (non-medical) care to the elderly and/or persons with a disability in the client's home.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and supervision
• Assist with daily living skills
• Perform housekeeping tasks
• Complete all tasks outlined in the participant's care plan
• Follow written and verbal instructions

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age (high school diploma not required)
• Able to lift 50 lbs. (medium duty)
• Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision
• Subject to medical exam, reference check and criminal background check

Qualifications

• No experience needed — all training provided for free
• Previously certified PCA, HHA, CNA certificate holders encouraged to apply
• Certificate holders will not have to retake the 40-hour class if you provide the certificate
