About the role
Join Senior Helpers as a Personal Care Aide and help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help clients move safely around their homes
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Offer medication reminders as permitted by state regulations
- Communicate with families and the care team
- Document care through our easy-to-use electronic system
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but not required—we'll provide training
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
- Ability to safely lift and assist up to 25 lbs.
