Personal Care Aide
Job Summary
A Personal Care Aide is to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with aging and disabled individuals and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our members. This role requires a nurturing attitude and the ability to work independently while following care plans. Fulltime and Part-time positions available! Need coverage for the following areas: LeFlore County
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred
Licenses/Certifications: None required
Experience: Previous experience in home care, nursing home settings, or care giving is preferred but not required
Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques
Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating patience and understanding
Strong communication skills to interact positively with members, and families
A caring demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality personal care services
Be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and dependable transportation
Essential Functions
Complete documentation as required
Follow scheduling and tasks assigned by the staffing coordinator
Assist members with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, housekeeping, and laundry and meal preparation
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of members
Maintain a clean and safe environment for members, ensuring that all areas are tidy and free from hazards
Other tasks as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Expectations
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, and other staff.
Attention to Detail: Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
