Personal Care Aide

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Absolutely must be a local Sturgeon Bay resident.
• The caregiver should be kind, patient, and reliable.
• Must be able to assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Helping with mobility tasks including transfers and safe movement around the house using a ceiling lift.
• Responsible for medication management and assisting with meal preparation.
• Light household tasks like laundry and running errands will also be part of the job.
• Providing companionship, emotional support, and engaging in social activities.
• Ensuring the personal dog is taken in and out to go to the bathroom, sometimes taking on daily walks.

OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior caregiving experience is helpful, but training will be provided to the right candidate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude are required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently is crucial.
• Reliability, punctuality, and trustworthiness are mandatory.
