Personal Care Aide
Essential Functions
- Lifting and turning of patients in bed or chairs.
- Transferring patients from bed to chair; chair to bed, etc.
- Giving patients a complete bed bath.
- Absorb assistance with bathing at sink, tub, shower.
- Bedmaking, occupied or unoccupied bed.
- Absorb assistance with toileting.
- Patient transfer with use of equipment, e.g., mechanical lift or slide board.
- Absorb assistance with ambulation and feeding.
- Light housekeeping activities such as vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, mopping, washing dishes, laundry, ironing, maintaining cleanliness of patient's environment, shopping for patients.
Principal Accountabilities
Provide personal care and related services. Observe client and communicate any change in status. Prepare and submit accurate and timely documentation of services provided to clients as required by Caregivers policy and government regulations.

- Less than High School education level.
- 3 months of experience required.
