About the role
As a Personal Care Aide with Interim HealthCare, you will be called to care when you’re needed most, supporting a full range of patient services to bring comfort and dignity to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily hygiene activities, such as bathing, grooming, toileting, elimination, and nutritional intake.
- Help patients with daily living tasks, including light housekeeping, shopping, preparing meals, and grocery shopping.
- Provide companionship and conversation; even the smallest interaction matters.
- Help patients navigate the healthcare system by scheduling appointments and communicating needs to the nursing team when appropriate.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of verifiable experience assisting patients with personal care.
- Attention to detail and ability to carefully follow instructions and document notes regarding a patient’s condition.
- Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work location.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
