About the role

As a Personal Care Aide at Interim HealthCare, you'll support a full range of patient services to bring comfort and dignity to our clients. This role offers truly flexible scheduling, including full-time, part-time, and PRN options, with a dedication to work/life balance. You will provide 1:1 patient care with no overtime required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily hygiene activities, including bathing, grooming, toileting and elimination, and nutritional intake.
• Help patients with daily living tasks, such as light housekeeping, shopping, preparing meals, and grocery shopping.
• Provide companionship and conversation to enhance the patient’s quality of life.
• Help the patient navigate the healthcare system by scheduling appointments and communicating needs to our nursing team, when appropriate.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of verifiable experience in assisting patients with personal care.
• Attention to detail; ability to carefully follow instructions and document notes regarding a patient’s condition.
• Reliable transportation to and from care sites and/or work location.
• Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance.
