About the Role
This position is ideal for someone building a career in finance. We provide training and coaching during onboarding and ongoing development. As you demonstrate success, advancement opportunities within our organization will arise.
As a Teller, you will:
- Work as an individual contributor at a steady pace with clear direction and established processes.
- Perform routine, transactional, operational, and client support tasks.
- Work toward individual and banking center-specific sales and service goals.
- Assist other departments as needed while building rapport with clients and associates.
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously using various computer and software systems.
- Calculate figures such as cash back and percentages accurately.
You will meet and provide exceptional service to a diverse audience in an environment free from competition, focusing on detailed and accurate work.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Desired Skills
Ideal candidates should possess some or all of the following:
- Previous banking, cash handling, or financial service experience.
- 6+ months of demonstrated successful cash handling experience.
- Bilingual language skills.
- Passion and motivation as a self-starter.
- Enthusiasm for educating clients on banking products and digital technologies.
- Strong work ethic and ability to complete work accurately.
- Logical thinking to analyze situations and make sound decisions.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency with multiple computer and software systems.
Work Environment
- Decisions are made efficiently, fairly, and locally, with a focus on community impact.
- Associates may need to grasp, push, pull, lift, bend, raise, and hold hands and arms overhead for certain tasks.
- Flexible scheduling based on business needs, with occasional overtime (typically no more than 5%).
