Personal Banking Manager

About the role

Cornestone Bank is seeking a Personal Banking Manager to lead and develop the personal banking team in Bismarck, ND. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting and at least 5 years of bank experience, including 2 years of managing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and coordinate the personal banking team using a customer-focused approach to educate clients about banking services.
• Develop, review, and adjust development plans for the team.
• Coach staff on effective service and selling techniques.
• Conduct team meetings to introduce new products, train on existing products, review procedures, communicate company information, handle customer complaints, and maintain audits and security standards.
• Accountable for the bank's consumer deposit and loan growth, and profit goals of the location.

Requirements

• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze procedures, legal documents, or financial reports with the highest degree of complexity.
• Effectively present complex information and respond to questions from senior management, employees, and customers.
• Demonstrated understanding of retail and business banking products.
• Understanding of credit principles and practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• At least 5 years of bank experience.
• 2 years of managing experience preferred.
