About the role
Cornestone Bank is seeking a Personal Banking Manager to lead and develop the personal banking team in Bismarck, ND. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting and at least 5 years of bank experience, including 2 years of managing experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and coordinate the personal banking team using a customer-focused approach to educate clients about banking services.
- Develop, review, and adjust development plans for the team.
- Coach staff on effective service and selling techniques.
- Conduct team meetings to introduce new products, train on existing products, review procedures, communicate company information, handle customer complaints, and maintain audits and security standards.
- Accountable for the bank's consumer deposit and loan growth, and profit goals of the location.
Requirements
- Ability to read, interpret, and analyze procedures, legal documents, or financial reports with the highest degree of complexity.
- Effectively present complex information and respond to questions from senior management, employees, and customers.
- Demonstrated understanding of retail and business banking products.
- Understanding of credit principles and practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
- At least 5 years of bank experience.
- 2 years of managing experience preferred.
Skills

- Ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Understanding of banking products and credit principles.
