About the role

As a Personal Banker, you will strengthen customer relationships through a defined sales process, engaging customers in conversations to identify appropriate financial solutions. This role is within PNC's Retail Branch Banking Network and operates in-office, promoting a collaborative and supportive culture.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities.
  • Manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve financial wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners to grow the customer's share of wallet and drive new revenue.
  • Drive proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions, including outbound calling, service-to-sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and lobby engagement.
  • Deliver a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate solutions.
  • Leverage ecosystem partnerships and community centers of influence to acquire, expand, and retain relationships.
  • Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products.
  • Educate customers on managing financial transactions using technology, tools, and resources.
  • Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively.
  • Manage risk through adherence to policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment.
  • Participate in branch daily operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent, plus related experience or product knowledge. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience (including military service) may be considered.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
