About the role

Retail Bankers play a vital role as they represent the face of Dieterich Bank within the communities we serve. This role is responsible for building customer relationships by assisting them to make informed choices, solve problems, and improve their financial well-being.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience working in a face-to-face customer service role, preferably in banking
• Associate Degree in business or related field preferred
• Must be dependable and able to work Saturdays on rotation basis
• Must possess excellent communication skills. Consultative skills to identify a client's financial needs
• Must be able to communicate with customers well on a daily basis face-to-face or by telephone
• Proficient in the use of technology (Microsoft Office, online banking, apps, etc.)

• Ability to work well with others and in a team environment, and assist other departments as needed

Schedule

This position is a full-time position and requires up to 40 hours each week with a various schedule based on the hours of the branch between 8:00am - 5:00pm. It also involves a rotation of Saturdays working a minimum of two per month between the hours of 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. As staffing allows, a full day off during the week will be rewarded when it's the scheduled Saturday.
