Summary
The employee will work their scheduled work hours in a designated WesBanco location, with consideration for location at the Springfield banking center.
Responsibilities
- Foster a positive work environment that inspires, motivates, challenges, supports, and provides ongoing recognition for exceptional performance.
- Provide excellent customer service while identifying sales opportunities and performing account transactions.
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities, manage customer relationships, and promote bank products and services.
- Initiate outbound telephone calls for customer onboarding, prospecting, and product promotion.
- Assist in targeted outside sales activities and participate in community service opportunities.
- Comply with all established bank policies, procedures, and security measures.
- Operate as a teller, assist in supervising, and provide necessary additional support of the banking center's sales and operational objectives as assigned.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Evaluate and recommend financial needs of Banking Center clients.
- Maintain and exceed defined sales goals for loans, deposits, partner referrals, and profitability.
- Demonstrate strong selling abilities and promote bank products and services to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Collaborate with branch staff and peers to foster a positive team environment and informally coach others for positive results.
- Adjust individual goals and initiate sales promotions as needed to meet banking center goals.
- Execute consistent outbound calling activities inside the banking center using customer lists.
- Promote products and make appropriate business line referrals as defined by location goals.
- Provide education to the bank team on uncovering opportunities to help advance financial wellness of customers.
- Set priorities and follow through on defined sales and service activities.
- Promote bank products and services in the community to support continued growth.
- Support day-to-day operations including customer service, open and close procedures, vault duties, and inventory management.
- Participate in regular sales and staff meetings and lead meetings as assigned.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and perform additional duties to support the success of the Banking Center.
- Cross-train and assist with operational duties.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of banking experience preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of cash handling, sales, or customer service experience required.
