As a Personal Banker based in Oxon Hill, Maryland, you will be part of PNC's Retail Bank organization. About the role

Acquires and deepens the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities. Manages the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve financial wellbeing. Collaborates with ecosystem partners to grow customers' share of wallet and positions PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty.

  • Drives proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions, including outbound calling, service-to-sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and effective lobby engagement to elevate client loyalty.
  • Delivers a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate solutions.
  • Leverages ecosystem partnerships and community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand, and retain relationships.
  • Creates customer loyalty and grows share of wallet through a differentiated customer experience.
  • Performs lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products.
  • Educates customers on options for managing financial transactions using technology, tools, and resources.
  • Applies product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively to drive loyalty.
  • Manages risk through adherence to policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.
  • Participates in branch daily operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of related experience or product knowledge.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Candidates will be subject to additional background checks as required by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations.
  • This position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act (FDIA) and, for any registered role, the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act) and/or the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), which prohibit hiring individuals with certain criminal histories.

Pay

Base Salary: $49,500.00 – $82,500.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible, with payment based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
