We are currently seeking a full-time Member Relationship Specialist to join our dynamic team.
As a Member Relationship Specialist, you will act as the primary liaison between members and the Credit Union to provide a consultative financial experience both in-person and virtually. You will engage with members to identify their financial needs and recommend tailored solutions that address both their immediate and long-term financial goals. This role is essential in deepening member relationships, expanding wallet share and positioning the Credit Union as a digital-first financial partner.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between members and the Credit Union
- Provide consultative financial experiences in-person and virtually
- Engage with members to identify financial needs
- Recommend tailored solutions for immediate and long-term goals
- Deepen member relationships and expand wallet share
- Position the Credit Union as a digital-first financial partner
Requirements
- Successfully pass pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana testing) and adhere to the Drug and Alcohol Policy
- Complete a credit check and submit fingerprints as required by state and federal law
- Ability to work within an in-store branch environment
- Ability to identify opportunities by recommending personalized solutions
- Knowledge of all financial regulations including Federal Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Reg CC‑Funds Availability, USA PATRIOT Act, etc.
- Knowledge of digital banking tools is a plus
- Demonstrative experience to support revenue through meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both in-person and across digital platforms
- Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) registration with Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) required
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:15 am–5:15 pm with rotating Saturdays, 8:45 am–12:45 pm
- Number of Saturdays worked may increase based on business needs
- Attendance and promptness are pertinent; must be able to work a flexible Monday through Saturday schedule
Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Minimum one (1) year of recent experience in customer service, retail, or sales required
- Experience in a financial institution is preferred
- Hospitality experience is a plus
Pay
Pay range: $22.28 to $23.51 for this role.
