Personal Banker (Member Service Representative III)

About the role

The Personal Banker (Member Service Representative III) position at SchoolsFirst FCU is responsible for providing high-quality customer service to members, promoting credit union products and services, and managing member accounts.

Responsibilities

• Provides world-class member service to members visiting branch/service center locations.
• Processes transactions in areas such as savings, consumer loans, real estate loans, and auxiliary credit union services.
• Delivers world-class face-to-face service to members requesting account assistance.
• Assesses member needs, addresses concerns, and gains agreement on credit union product and service recommendations.
• Manages new memberships, additional share accounts, savings services, loan requests, and loan fundings.
• Performs advanced research on accounts and resolves member account issues.
• Completes documentation for accounts and loans according to credit union procedures.
• Maintains cash and negotiable items.
• May act as a branch liaison to support departments.
• Provides suggestions for improving department and credit union operations.
• Completes various file maintenance tasks, such as processing address changes, check orders, and ATM card requests.
• May take on vault custodian duties as assigned.
• Provides consultative services to members regarding credit union products and services.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Three to five years of prior related experience are required.
• A Notary License is required.
• Participation in the CA DMV pull program may be required depending on assignment.

Benefits

Our pay range for this position is $27.02 - $39.18 per hour. Scheduled weekly hours are 30.
