About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Personal Banker IV to support the Branch Manager with oversight of the branch. Accountable for all aspects of performance including deposit/loan growth, member services, business development, and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships to promote member retention and loyalty while identifying member needs and providing exceptional service.
  • Assist in supervising branch team members to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform a broad variety of teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with high accuracy.
  • Sell cashier’s checks in compliance with credit union policies and procedures, including robbery protocols.
  • Maintain privacy of member account information and security of assigned cash and keys.
  • Handle member accounts, including correspondence, instant-issue debit cards, file maintenance, and telephone inquiries.
  • Provide complex senior-level services such as opening accounts, processing loan applications, and managing member service requests, business accounts/loans, wealth management, licensing, and special accounts.
  • Engage in need-based selling and member relationship management.
  • Resolve member requests and complaints promptly while ensuring members are informed of credit union services and policies.
  • Maintain the credit union’s quality reputation.
  • Ensure the branch balances all transactions at the close of each day, run related reports, and complete end-of-day checklists.
  • Act as a designated Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) in full compliance with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing (SAFE) Act.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent (college degree preferred).
  • 3 to 5 years of branch banking experience with sales.
  • Advanced understanding of credit union products and services.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding advanced sales and lending goals in a relationship-focused environment.
  • Recent cash handling experience.
  • Supervisory/management experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills; ability to multitask, work independently, and as part of a team.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • NMLS license required.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday (9am–5pm); Friday (9am–6pm); Saturday (9am–2pm).

Pay

Base pay range: $30 – $37 hourly plus incentives (guaranteed $500/month for the first three months).
